Q.   I want to bring my pet to Lakefair.  Can I do this?

A.  We (Capitalarians) at Lakefair all love our own pets just as much as you love yours and we love to take them places with us.  Most animals are not used to lots of people in tight areas and this can cause serious problems not only to your pet, or yourself but possibly to innocent bystanders. There have been several incidents at Lakefair over the past few years which requires Capital Lakefair to request that you leave your pets at home.   The only animals we permit during Capital Lakefair are Certified Service Animals.

PLEASE, LEAVE YOUR PETS AT HOME.

Q.   What should I do if I have an emergency while I am at Lakefair?

A.  For the safety of all persons attending Lakefair there will be a large presence of Olympia Police Officers.  In addition to OPD Officers on foot patrolling all Lakefair areas, there will also be OPD Officers and Olympia Fire Department Paramedics on bicycles. These officers will be augmented by Olympia Police Explorers.  Capital Lakefair staff will be easily recognized with bright orange t-shirts marked with EVENT STAFF on their backs.  Olympia Police will also have officers stationed in their Communications Van at the corner of Legion Way and Water Street.  So, should you have an emergency of any kind, help is not far away.
